Center to offer 'Walk with Ease' program

Mt. Juliet, TN The Mt. Juliet Senior Activity Center will begin offering the Arthritis Foundation's "Walk with Ease" program on Monday, August 20, under the direction of certified instructor Deb Walter.
The six-week program is designed to educate individuals on successful physical activity for people with arthritis. The class also addresses how to develop a safe, ongoing aerobic fitness program while managing the disease.
Classes are one hour long and meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Juliet Senior Activity Center, beginning on Monday, August 20. The Center is located at 2034 North Mt. Juliet Road. The class is free for Center members. Membership is $20 per year.
Younger adults with arthritis may also take the class. The program will conclude on Friday, September 28, 2012. Call for more information or to reserve your spot, 615-758-9114.
